THE CELLAR

A SELECTION OF WINES THAT HAS GROWN OVER TIME

The genesis of our wine cellar traces its roots back to the unwavering passion of Roberto. It embarked on a lengthy and deliberate journey, commencing amidst the vineyards of his paternal grandfather's residence and subsequently unfolding within the cozy confines of the family's modest store, where his father once purveyed freshly cut grapes and wine in demijohns. As he matured, Roberto embarked on a quest for knowledge, participating in specialized courses, partaking in tastings, and engaging in enlightening gatherings hosted by the most esteemed local wineries. With patience as his compass and guided by his initial experiences within the terroir he cherished, Roberto expanded his vinicultural expertise beyond the confines of his native land, venturing into the diverse wine regions that our beloved Italy so abundantly offers. His journey of discovery led him to explore the finest wines that our nation has to offer.

Over the years, the wine labels on our shelves have multiplied and burgeoned.

Today, our wine cellar stands as one of the paramount treasures within our establishment, boasting a diverse array of Italian wines and sparkling elixirs, resplendent magnums, the effervescence of champagne, a curated selection of spirits, and the bold and characterful embrace of grappas. It is a testament to Roberto's enduring dedication to the art of wine, and a reflection of the passion that fuels our commitment to excellence.

THE CHEES

FLAVORS AND TRADITIONS

Our curated cheese selection pays homage to the idyllic alpine pastures nestled in the valleys surrounding Lake Como. These fertile lands boast lush pastures and a diverse array of dairy products, a rich tapestry that has long woven itself into the gastronomic heritage of the region. To delve into these valleys is to delve into a narrative woven from history, the ever-changing seasons, biodiversity, and the finest raw materials. From the opulent alpine cheeses of Valtellina to the delicate soft-textured varieties of Valsassina, not to mention local gems such as the Semuda, each cheese in our offering is a testament to the region's culinary artistry.

Within our establishment, the significance of cheese takes on an even more profound and symbolic role following the meticulous restoration of our ancestral cellar, once belonging to our grandfather. In this hallowed space, we have embarked on the art of cheese aging, featuring iconic Valtellina varieties such as Bitto and Casera. These wheels are tenderly attended to on a weekly basis, ensuring that their maturation process yields a flavor profile that is truly timeless."
